Een draadloze lader is een hele handige gadget. Een draadloze lader voorziet mobiele telefoons van stroom zonder gebruik van kabels. Het enige wat je nodig hebt, is een draadloze lader (zender) en een telefoon met Qi ondersteuning (ontvanger).
Bijna alle nieuwe smartphones beschikken tegenwoordig over een ingebouwde Qi-ontvanger. Leg deze simpelweg op de draadloze oplader en hij laadt meteen op. Voor telefoons zonder Qi-ontvanger is een speciale achterkant of draadloze laadpatch verkrijgbaar.

Moet de draadloze lader van hetzelfde merk zijn als mijn telefoon?
Nee, het is niet nodig hetzelfde merk te gebruiken als je telefoon voor het draadloos opladen. De Qi-technologie is vergelijkbaar met Bluetooth en werkt dus op alle apparaaten waarop de Qi-ontvanger zit. Het opladen van je iPhone met een Samsung draadloze oplader is dus mogelijk en visa versa.
